Is the iPhone ‘killing’ table quizzes?

March 29, 2010 in Culture, Thoughts

I don’t really go in for passing on other people’s content on this blog.  However, here’s an article that caught my eye in this week’s Sunday Independent.

iPhone ‘killing’ pub table quiz

“Hi. I’m just calling to ask about booking a table for the quiz tonight…”

“I’m sorry sir.  There’s already a quiz taking place tonight so you cannot book the bar.”

Oh, how I’d love if such a world existed where table quizzes were so popular that bars would have double-booking issues! Read the rest of this entry →
